1997,December 28, OK I’ll admit, I don’t like Pokemon. I watched a few episodes but I never liked it. It was a Friday and apparently my mom wanted me to clean my room because of all the the stuff that was in it from Christmas. So I cleaned it throwing the toys in my toy box and I made my bed. I checked under my bed for tapes or clothes or toys, what I found was a tape called “Pokemon 1-99.” I wondered where it came from, perhaps a friend could have left it here.

Any way I went into to my living room and put the tape in. At first the screen was blue ,then, black, then red, and finally white. I felt kinda weird, wondering what would be on this tape, then it started. It showed Pikachu smiling,then some music started playing. It was the poke rap but it replaced “catch” with “kill”, then the screen changed to red and it only mentioned 99 of the 151 Pokemon.

That is probably what 1-99 meant. Then it mentioned another Pokemon called “yobo2k” it was such an odd name. then the screen started flashing with the number 2000 over and over. then I knew that this was a reference to the Y2K, the apparent Apocalypse in 2000 saying that robots will rule the world and stuff. It was definitely bootleg. Then pikachu was seen crying blood and screaming like a human. As an 8 year old I freaked out and ran to my parents telling them what happened.

December 28, 2012, It has been fifteen years since “that” happened. A lot has happened. In 2003 I sold the tape and my old magoras mask game to my freind ben. Sadly the next year he drowned in the pool at his house. I dont watch pokemon any more and I dont play the games… The End.
