Closest Classification; Incubus/Demon
Infographic; Dark humanoid creature whose behavior and characteristics best fit to the descriptions of the Incubus from classic mythology. This creature seems to have adapted to the modern age with it’s stalking methods. According to classic mythology the Incubus was a demon that defended from the hills at night (often as mist) and would then have sexual intercourse with women in the village. Often the Incubus would disguise itself as the love interest or husband of the women it seduced. That act in and of itself doesn’t sound too horrible however it’s motive is much darker. The apparent reasoning for this is to produce demon hybrid offspring to roam the Earth and spread evil and the dominion of Satan. Discounted as myth, the Iikai has resurfaced recently although the name is new, the sightings of this Iikai or Incubus has continued through out history. It is suspected that several of the world’s most evil men are the products of union with the Iikai. Often the Iikai strikes women when they are most venerable, after she and her lover have had some sort of quarrel or fight. The Iikai will appear to it’s victims in their sleep posing as their lover. In their fragile and semi-conscious state they will lay with the women and impregnate them. Sometimes the woman will be completely unaware that they slept with an impostor until they are with child. One case in the 1888 in Austria resulted with a woman becoming pregnant with her fourth child while her husband was out of town. At the time she conceived her husband had been away for 3 months and was not due to return for another 3 weeks until the harvest ended at the farm he had left to work at to support her and the three children she already had. According to her report late one night she awoke to her husbands gentle caress after having argued with each other over a series of letters in the mail. Thinking it was a surprise visit her husband had made to make amends she gave of her self freely. Upon her husbands return home she greeted him with a loving embrace to inform him that she was now pregnant with their fourth child. The man grew enraged, claiming she had slept with another man. She tried to explain it was from that night he came to visit, that at first she thought it only a dream but now sure it was real as she was late for her flow. Their relationship because strained as nine months later at an inn in Ranshofen on April 20th 1889 she gave birth to the infamous child, a boy who despite the presumed affair her and her husband raised, having two children after him. This boy is a man history remembers as Adolf Hitler. The legend of the Iikai is not based merely on unexplained pregnancies. The Iikai’s method are based on the ruse of tricking women into thinking they are the lover making amends. Occasionally the Iikai is bought by the men when they actually try to make amends. The man will show up ready to speak to the their lover, and hear her laying with another man. Sent into either rage or sorrow they burst in to try and catch their lover cheating. However instead of catching their girlfriend or wife with another man they see what appears to be themselves with her. In this instance the Iikai shifts back into it’s natural form. A jagged dark figure, all in black with what appear to be horns and eyes of the darkest piercing black. In all accounts the Iikai crawls off the startled woman and slowly creeps toward the man. Often the man either scared, enraged, or bent on trying to protect their lover will try to strike at or right the Iikai but they efforts are useless as their blows do not land against a being but seem to pass straight through smoke. Some who have survived to carry on claimed that they pleaded for the beast to leave and never return, upon which the Iikai lets out a brief shriek and never returns. However others have made the fools choice and verbally challenged the creature. Those who have challenged or threatened the creature report that it lets out a deep sinister laugh then runs through the man. Then over the next several days the Iikai torments the man, appearing in the corner of the eye in the distance, slowly getting closer. No one else see’s the Iikai besides the woman it was raping. It never speaks, it just gets closer, and closer when your guard is down. Then waking the couple up at night at the foot of the bed, staring into them with the voids of it’s black soulless eyes. Until one morning the woman, while sleeping with her lover holding on tightly, she awakens to find her lover gone with out a trace. In the place where her lover should be always appears a phrase written in blood “dato filio sive accipiatur” which in latin roughly translates to “I will be given a son, or I shall take one”. It is believed that the Iikai takes the men body and soul into Hell or whatever place it comes from. Usually the women spend the rest of their lives alone for fear that if she ever dare to love another man the Iikai will return to take him to punish her for not bearing a son for it. In modern age the Iikai has grown more brutal. Woman finding themselves pregnant with it’s spawn have died while trying to have an abortion or force a miscarriage. The men foolish enough to challenge the creature disappear without a trace. The blood found on the sheets always the blood of the male victim. Most recently, the Iikai likes to strike after woman have changed their Facebook status from “In a Relationship” to “Single”, showing it keeps up with the times. Woman claiming to have spawn of the beast have their children’s DNA tested to find that it is biologically their husband or boyfriends. The problem is that in several cases it is impossible because at the time of conception the man was no where near the woman. Three reported cases in 2004, 2007 and 2010 had woman conceiving children whose DNA was a match for their significant other however their other was deployed overseas in the military. The case in 2010 the Iikai encounter occurred after the wife had fought with her husband over Skype after he cancelled his leave to go on a special op mission with his best friend and fellow marine. The woman who will remain anonymous reported that after their fight she went to bed crying. “I woke up about 1am or so, my husband rubbing my shoulders, he apologized to me and we soon began having make up sex as we often do. After we finished I fell back asleep. The sex was unusually good, as often my husband is kind of rough and selfish. This night he was very, lets say giving, bringing me to orgasm in ways I have never felts before. Before I fell back to sleep he whispered in my ear “You will give me a son”. The next day I woke up and my husband wasn’t there, I assumed it was a dream. Later I found I was pregnant, I was scarred, I thought perhaps I was raped somehow. My Husband came home and I made sure he had unprotected sex with me because I was scarred and didn’t know what to do. I figured it was close enough that I could convince him it was his. Eventually we had the baby, and it was a boy. I had the DNA test done and I was both shocked and startled to find it was my husbands baby. Which was impossible!”
Many of these stories play out the same way. The Iikai strikes, preying upon the woman’s desire for ethos or resolution. In all accounts the Iikia performs with a sexual prowess lending credence to the fact that this creature exist only to sleep with several women over the whole of recorded history if not farther given that the origin of the Incubus Myth predates recorded history. Tales of mythical beast engaging in this behavior can be found in several cultures across the world, sleeping with women, producing evil male children. Men disappearing after going mad claiming they are stalked by a dark humanoid figure who slept with their wife. The Iikai can not be stopped. If you encounter it, do not challenge it, just ask it to leave, stick with your companion and try to stay together. While it uses love as a weapon, love seems to be the only thing that repels. The few who have encountered the Iikai and survived without yielding its spawn or having the man or woman killed have stayed together until death did them part.
One couple from Louisiana that claimed they survived an encounter said every time after they started to have an argument they could feel the hair on the back of their necks stand up. One day five years after they encountered the Iikai an argument got so heated that the man was about to walk out, when the couple walked towards the door fighting and stopped dead in their tracks. They saw the Iikai sitting at their dining room table, letting out a slow creeping smile that reveal rows of sharp pointed teeth. The couple ran out of the house together, drove clear across the country never returning to that house and never having another argument. On their 65 year anniversary they tried to submit that story to a journalist. The journalist wrote the story off as nonsense until weeks later, he and his wife had a fight. After drinking several hours at the bar he went home to make amends. He thought he heard his wife sleeping with another man in their bedroom. Distraught and drunk he retrieved the gun from his home office and began sneaking towards the bedroom. As he approached closer he heard his wife screaming his name in ecstasy. Kicking open the door he pointed the gun directly at the bed and found what looked like him on top of his wife. It was the Iikai who shifted back into it’s regular form. Startled the man began firing wildly at the creature, the bullets passing through it as though it were nothing more than air. His wife screamed as bullet after bullet flew through the creature past her and into the wall. He then through the empty gun at the Iikai and foolishly yelled, “Fight me you son of a bitch!” The Iikia then let out it’s dark hideous laugh and passed through the journalist.
How do I know all of this? Because I am that journalist. After that night I keep seeing the Iikai, moving ever closer. Unable to stop it I have frantically used everything I have to gather this information and put it together. I didn’t know what I was doing, and there is no stopping it now. It is only a matter of time before this monster takes me away. It is only a matter of time before my wife wakes up to find the phrase “dato filio sive accipiatur” written in my own blood on my side of the bed. The only thing I can do now is try to get this story together and get it out. I hope that people read this, and carry on the knowledge. If you are lucky enough to catch the Iikai before it impregnates your wife or girlfriend. Don’t be a fool, don’t challenge it, don’t threaten it, just ask it to leave. You can’t escape it, even now as I write this, to try and get it to you. It draws closer. It’s eyes staring into. It is going to take me. I feel it, what have I done?
