The bodies lay strewn across the floor. Many limbs parted from their owners or twisted in awkward angles. He glanced around himself, taking in the horrible scene in front of him. He had awoken on the floor just moments ago. His entire body splattered with fresh and dry blood. He started to step back and tripped over the bloody remains of a corpse. His gasp of surprise echoed throughout the chamber empty if life.
His body hunched over and was soon racked with tears. How had he gotten into this place? How had he survived? He had no idea. But he was sure it wasn’t good. When he had finished crying he looked up to see a shadowy figure in the far end of the room. The figure was clearly feminine as it moved farther from him. He stumbled towards the shadow, but she was gone before he got there.
He fell to his knees once more. His face buried in his hands, he didn’t see the slight girl move towards him. She was beautiful. Her face was small and rounded in a pleasant way. She had long black hair that fell past her waist. Her dress was softly silver. It was shimmering and as she moved, it seemed as though her dress was immune to the stain of the blood that pooled on the ground. She stopped before him. Her dress swirled around her feet.
She reached towards him, her hands stained with the blood of those at her feet. He looked up at her, his tear streaked face filled with amazement at her beauty. He leaned forward towards this monstrous beast disguised as beauty. He smiled, and she leaned in as if to kiss him. His smile slowly disappeared as the blade of a silver dagger embedded itself into his heart.
She smiled and turned away from the man. She lifted the dagger to her lips and licked the blood from it’s blade. Her eyes closed in the sheer glee of the taste of the man’s blood. Her heart quickened in her chest and she walked away from the gruesome scene. Her once blue eyes had turned black and she turned away from the massacre. She wondered how the police would figure this one out.
